Run Cool Edit v2.1 and open a voice file (B1.wav). See the following figure 1.
If trying to directly download this unedited voice file into AM9BE Romter for test, you can find that the background music is so large that the human voice is masked. And the background music is not clear.
To analyze this problem, you can first click ‘Analyze’ in the toolbar, and then select the ‘Show Frequency Analysis’ option (figure 2). In this way, the Frequency Analysis window will appear as the figure 3 shows.
In figure 3, you can see that the change of frequency segment below 200Hz is unobvious. Therefore, to highlight the human voice and make the voice thick, you can filter the segment below 200Hz and raise the 300Hz~500Hz segment appropriately. In this way, the human voice sounds much thicker since the frequency segment above 200Hz is reserved.
Apart from analyzing the frequency, you should also consider the features of speaker.
